Breast Reconstruction
Procedure Details
This patient is in her 60s and was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer of her left breast. After discussing cancer treatment options with her breast surgeon she decided to have a lumpectomy or breast conservation therapy. She is seen before surgery and 6 weeks after undergoing an oncoplastic reduction. During this procedure incisions similar to a breast reduction/lift allow the breast surgeon removes the tumor and I am able to reconstruct the breast in the same surgery.
