Dr. Derrick has continuously excelled in academics and practice – graduating magna cum laude from the University of Texas and continuing on to medical school at Texas Tech University, where he won the Gold Humanism Award and prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society induction (during junior year). He also completed comprehensive training and gained significant experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery through one of the most rigorous and competitive integrated plastic surgery residencies in the country at the University of Missouri–Columbia. Dr. Derrick is board certified through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Derrick is continuously learning and evolving to be an exceptional surgeon for his patients and absolutely loves his job.
